Fissures en abîme navigates through uncharted and enigmatic territories within Artificial Intelligence Text-to-Image (TTI) tools, uncovering their elusive intricacies.

The series explores the disruption of AI-generated imagery through demanding prompts composed of Anna Utopia Giordano's rhapsodies — cryptic, esoteric and technical-scientific poetic compositions — combined with specific technical parameters designed to challenge the interpretative mechanisms of text-to-image systems.

This practice culminates in fragmented and dreamlike images, subsequently extensively refined and digitally post-produced by the artist. Much like scratches and fractures, the prompts pierce the depths of the AI database, allowing surreal images to emerge — a process poetically described by Utopia as ôté de l’abîme.
